Programs for Students at Hebrew University
At our Jeff Seidel Centers serving Hebrew University Students, we are BUSY! We have a daily stream of students visiting our offices, using our laundromat, connecting with friends, joining one of our many programs, or accessing a prayer book. Here are some of the programs that we offer:
The Old City Student Center is the main office and “springboard” for the JSIC’s diversified activities throughout the country. In order to meet the needs of JSIC’s rapid expansion, construction has begun on a new building in Jerusalem, which will serve as a nucleus for the varied activities.
Students and Tourists seeking to expand their studies are referred to various yeshivas and programs, according to the individual’s needs and desires.
Activities include in-service counseling, yeshiva classes, regular lectures on topics like Jewish Philosophy or Halacha followed by a basketball or football game or even a movie, tours of the western wall tunnels and Shabbat Hospitality. Students are welcome to make themselves at home in the spacious lounge or browse in the Center’s library which includes video and audio tapes on a variety of Jewish Topics.
Meet Our Staff
Batsheva Adamit
DIRECTOR OF EVENTS/WOMEN’S PROGRAMMING

Born and raised in South Florida, Batsheva made Aliya in 2003 and currently lives with her husband and 3 children in Israel.
She received her BA from Bar Ilan University in Bible Studies and Jewish History and is currently working on her MA in Bible Studies. Batsheva has worked for Jeff Seidel since 2011, where she began running the Beersheva branch but has since transferred over to Jeff’s Hebrew University student center where she runs events for the international students. She admires the work that Jeff Seidel has been doing for many decades and feels grateful to be a part of such an incredible program.
